Music Boosters


Members of the Carl Sandburg High School Music Boosters are dedicated to supporting the students enrolled in the music program at Carl Sandburg High School by promoting interest in the Music Program throughout the school and community. Our goal is to provide the music students with assistance that is not provided by the school. We are dedicated to achieve this goal by deed and monetary assistance.

Teamwork is essential for the success of the Music Program. Consider donating your precious gift of time to the music children! We need every parent to help out in someway.

Summer at a Glance:

Saturday, June 26, 2010 ~ Car Wash at the Orland Fire Station #1, 151st & Ravinia Ave from 10:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. Support the Carl Sandburg Colorguard and Marching Band. Please click here to view the flyer.

Marching Band Rehearsals Start June 22nd :
Brass Section: Tuesday evenings from 5:30-6:30 pm
Woodwinds: Thursday evenings from 5:30-6:30 pm
Percussion: Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30 pm


Colorguard Practice: Tuesday and Thursday's 9 am-12 pm until June 29th then it goes to 1:00 pm. **NO Practice the week of July 4th.


Band Camp: Monday, August 2nd to Friday, August 13th 5:00 pm-9:00 pm.
Sectionals: 3:30-4:30pm
Mondays-Trumpet, mellophone(french horn)
Tuesdays-Percussion, Low Brass, Low Woodwinds
Wednesdays-Flute, saxophone
Thursdays-Percussion, clarinets

DVD Order Form
If you would like to order a DVD of the concert performances, please print and complete the new Music Booster's DVD Order Form.

DVD’s are $15.00 each. If you would like to have the DVD mailed to Student or Parent - please add $2.00 to your order Total. Be sure to identify the Date of the Concert on the form and check the appropriate boxes. Please make checks payable to "Carl Sandburg Music Boosters" with the student's name in the memo section. Place the completed form, along with a check, in the Music Booster's Mailbox.
